Full Title: ‘When the earth was sick and the skies were grey, and the woods were rotted with rain, the dead man rode through the autumn day to visit his love again’
When I first read Rudyard Kipling’s short story ‘The Other Man’ the lines at the beginning of the story had a profound effect on me and I felt I wanted to express this image in a painting. It’s a sad story of true love gone wrong.
