It was a windy and sunny day when I chose to paint in the sun rather than the shade

Painting 2 is a different interpretation of Painting 1 designed to be more dramatic, emphasising the dark and light contrasts.

A painting I completed after the recent Plein Air session at the Trout Lakes in Tenterden.

It was a windy and sunny day when I chose to paint in the sun rather than the shade, in painting 1 I have tried to capture the beautiful bright day with the Lillies floating on the water showing off their bright pink colour.
