WOKAS programme
The programme, including en plein air days, workshops, demonstrations, and social events, is shown below.
Demos, talks, and members’ painting sessions are free to all WOKAS members and guests are welcome for a fee of £6 - no need to book.
Saturday workshops cost £30 (£35 for non-members) and must be booked in advance (see booking details below)
All indoor sessions are held at Highbury Hall, Highbury Lane, Tenterden TN30 6LE.

Juliette Dodd on portraits
Join Juliette Dodd for an evening exploring portraiture through pastel, charcoal and chalk. Working from a live model, Juliette will demonstrate her approach and encourage you to experiment with line, tone, colour and expressive mark-making to capture character and likeness. The evening is suitable for artists of all levels and promises plenty of opportunity to draw and experiment.
Please bring charcoal sticks, chalk, coloured paper (inexpensive sugar paper is ideal), plus a sketchbook or small board to lean on.

WOKAS painting workouts - the 'Challenges'
Starting in the lockdown of 2020 our ‘Painting Challenges’ continue to keep our members busy. With our members working to a specific theme for each challenge, an astounding number of diverse works of art have been produced - all of these pictures can be seen online
