WOKAS programme
The programme, including en plein air days, workshops, demonstrations, and social events, is shown below.
Demos, talks, and members’ painting sessions are free to all WOKAS members and guests are welcome for a fee of £6 - no need to book.
Saturday workshops cost £30 (£35 for non-members) and must be booked in advance (see booking details below)
All indoor sessions are held at Highbury Hall, Highbury Lane, Tenterden TN30 6LE.

Join renowned artist and author Melanie Cambridge for an inspiring live oil demonstration. Collage with Pat Lock
Join Pat Lock for a creative and experimental session exploring the possibilities of collage. Using your own discarded, unfinished or unwanted artwork as the starting point, Pat will demonstrate how existing pieces can be cut, layered and reworked to create something completely new.
The session will explore collage as a way of developing ideas, experimenting with composition, colour and texture, and breathing new life into artwork that might otherwise be put aside. There will also be the opportunity to create original artwork and handmade cards using collage techniques.
A relaxed and inspiring evening suitable for artists of all abilities, with plenty of opportunity to experiment and see where the process takes you.

Starting in the lockdown of 2020 our ‘Painting Challenges’ continue to keep our members busy. With our members working to a specific theme for each challenge, an astounding number of diverse works of art have been produced - all of these pictures can be seen online
