WOKAS painting workouts - the 'Challenges'
Starting in the lockdown of 2020 our ‘Painting Challenges’ continue to keep our members busy. With our members working to a specific theme for each challenge, an astounding number of diverse works of art have been produced - all of these pictures can be seen online
WOKAS programme
Demos, talks and members’ painting sessions are free to all WOKAS members and we are happy to welcome guests for a fee of £5.
Our Saturday workshops cost £30 (£35 for non-members) and must be booked in advance.

WOKAS summer painting en plein air sessions will take place May - September 2024 - details below.
There is usually no need for members to register for these painting days – guests are also welcome. However, it is always a good idea to check that there have not been any last minute adjustments to the programme.
At each venue we meet at 10.30am before heading off to paint.

Dannie Roberts, a new member, has volunteered use of her garden and meadow which enjoys great views over to the windmill. The meadow should also be in full bloom in May.

From the green there are good views of lovely village houses and also The Chequers Pub. High Halden church is also a good subject. Behind the church are views over the countryside. Diane Wharton lives on the green and has offered use of her facilities.

This is my house (Wendy Phillips). A neighbouring farmer is allowing us to paint on his land just at the end of my drive. Should weather be unpleasant we can change plan and find something inside
