All Thursday evening activities are free for members.

WOKAS summer painting en plein air sessions will take place May - September 2025 - details below.

There is usually no need for members to register for these painting days – guests are also welcome. However, it is always a good idea to check that there have not been any last minute adjustments to the programme. 

At each venue we meet at 10.30am before heading off to paint.

A fascinating historical site with atmospheric ruins, ideal for dramatic compositions.

Location: Pett Level Beach, East Sussex
A stunning coastal location with vast skies and seascapes to inspire your creativity.

Our member Leelee kindly invites us to her picturesque home, featuring bee hives, woodland
gardens, and far reaching views.

Location: The Green, Woodchurch
A quintessential English village with delightful cottages and rural scenes to explore.

Location: Meet near the Landgate, Rye, East Sussex
Capture the magic of Rye’s rolling landscapes, historic rooftops, and winding waterways.

Thursday, 11th September – High Halden Village Green

Location: High Halden Village Green
This location offers stunning views of traditional village houses, The Chequers Pub, and the beautiful church with countryside beyond. Diane Wharton, a resident of the green, has kindly offered use of her facilities.
